An early expression of RWRK’s belief that creativity should be shared, not guarded. The DIY Kits invited customers into the process, allowing them to rework vintage luxury shopping bags into functional pieces themselves.

By shifting authorship to the wearer, the kits challenged traditional ideas of luxury, ownership, and value.

The Kits became our second most viral product

The kits were made available for both Chanel and Louis Vuitton Shopping bags. The DIY Kits marked a formative moment in RWRK’s journey, where community, experimentation, and education became central to the brand’s direction.
